Tournament for this weekend
An Upcoming 1v1 StarJeweled two day tournament will run on May 11th and May 12th. Prizes for the event will total over $100 US. This will be hosted on the European server and is an open tournament which simply means it's not exclusive to TR0LL members only. In order to determine the seeds for the championship bracket, each contestant will be required to play a single game against a Very Hard A.I. computer. The player to defeat the computer the fastest will get the top seed. If a player is unable to defeat the computer, then they will not qualify for the championship bracket.
In cases where the number of competitive entities at the start of the tournament is not a power of two, some competitors may receive a bye in the first round, which entitles these competitors to advance to the second round automatically without playing.
The players who get to the final eight spots will be guaranteed at least $5 in winnings with the potential for a maximum of $75 for winning the grand championship. Officials will be CosmicAC/LaShaneequa/Plex and SerosKal. E-mails or phone numbers to your PayPal accounts will be needed later so the money can be sent to the correct players. I prefer that parties involved send this information to my e-mail ( while706@gmail.com ).
During the 1v1s, all units will be allowed. All spells will be allowed. Game-throwing will be allowed. Bots, hacks, or cheats of any other nature will NOT be allowed.
In the event of a player disconnecting during the first 30 seconds of a match, the game will be replayed immediately.
If you're terrible and don't know how to play StarJeweled, copy/paste this in StarCraft II:
